The tool will
- Add the contacts you approved.
It will never
- Read, change or delete your contacts.
- Keep your access (cut off after 15 min of inactivity).
Google will ask you to allow it to “see, edit and delete” your contacts: it's the only permission Google offers. The tool only uses it to add. Read our privacy policy
The tool doesn't read your existing contacts: if someone was already there, Google Contacts will offer to merge the two entries.

Frequently asked questions
Which address books does the tool work with?
All of them: Google Contacts (direct import after signing in), iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android (vCard .vcf file or QR code), Outlook, Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 (CSV file), Thunderbird and any address book that can import a vCard file.
How do I add the .vcf file to my iPhone or Android phone?
On iPhone: tap the downloaded file, then “Add All Contacts”. On Android: open the file with the Contacts app, or use the “Open with…” button. From a computer, the easiest way is to scan the QR codes with your phone.
How do I import the contacts into Outlook?
Download the CSV file. Outlook.com and Microsoft 365: Contacts > Manage contacts > Import contacts. Outlook for Windows: File > Open & Export > Import/Export > Import from another program or file > Comma Separated Values. Outlook only reads one contact per vCard file: the CSV imports them all.
Why not just a link to my online address book?
Neither Google Contacts, Outlook nor iCloud offer a link that creates a pre-filled contact. So the tool offers direct import into Google Contacts, files (vCard, CSV) and QR codes.
What documents can the tool read?
Up to 5 files at a time, 10 MB in total: photos of business cards, screenshots, PDFs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or OpenDocument files, and text or CSV files. You can also paste an email signature or an attendee list.
Does the tool detect duplicates?
No: it never reads your address book. If a contact already exists, Google Contacts and the iPhone offer to merge duplicates.
Do I need an account? Is the tool free?
No account is needed and the tool is free: the number of analyses is simply limited, to prevent abuse. Google sign-in is only required if you choose direct import into Google Contacts.
What happens to my document and the contact details?
The document is analysed by Claude (Anthropic), without being kept or used to train the AI. Nothing is stored on our server: no document, no contact, no Google access. The files and QR codes are created in your browser.
What can the tool do in my Google account?
Only add the contacts you approved. It never reads, changes or deletes your contacts. Access is revoked when you finish, or after 15 minutes of inactivity.
Can I install it on my phone?
Yes. After your first import, the tool offers to install itself as an app, on a computer or a phone: handy for snapping a business card right after a meeting. On iPhone or iPad: Share menu, then Add to Home Screen.
